In recognition of National Child Abuse Prevention Month this April, the Child Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes is hosting a community conversation about children and internet safety. This event is intended for parents, caregivers, and educators who want to better understand the risks children may face online and how to help protect them. The discussion will cover topics such as unsupervised internet access, common online safety concerns, and signs that a child may be experiencing or engaging in concerning online behavior.
By providing education and practical guidance, this event aims to help adults feel more prepared to support and protect the children in their lives. Community education is a key part of prevention, and together we can help create safer environments for children throughout Ontario, Seneca, and Yates counties.
